This notice is from [[ENTITY NEEDED]], which runs Answered by Friday. Questions about it, and any request about your data, go to [[CONTACT EMAIL NEEDED]].
The quote never leaves your browser
When you drop a questionnaire on the counter, the page reads it inside your browser tab. The file, its cells and its sheet names are sent nowhere. The page makes one request of its own while you count, to ask whether the till is open, and that request carries nothing about your file. The sample file is fetched from this site, and nothing is sent back.
What is sent when you pay
When you choose to pay, the page sends the receipt to this site's server: the file's SHA-256 (a 64-character fingerprint that cannot be turned back into the file), its size and kind, the row and question counts, the framework, the domain tally, the tier and the time of the count. The server checks it, then passes the fingerprint, the counts, the framework and the tier to Stripe as the order's details.
Stripe collects your name, your email address and your card on its own checkout page, under Stripe's privacy policy. This site never sees the card number.
What is held after payment
Files you send through the upload step on your order page are stored in a private Vercel Blob store under your order number. They are readable by the desk and by no one else, and the order page shows you their names and sizes. Stripe holds the order itself. This site runs no database and keeps no account for you.
When an order is paid, two plain-text emails go out through Resend: one to you, naming the order and the next step, and one to the desk. Your files and the draft are deleted [[RETENTION DAYS NEEDED]] days after delivery. The answer bank is yours, and the desk's working copy is deleted with the rest.
Who processes it
- Vercel hosts this site, runs its server functions and holds the Blob store with your uploaded files.
- Stripe takes the payment and keeps the record of the order.
- Resend sends the two order emails.
Cookies and tracking
None. The site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking script. Your browser keeps your last count in this tab's session storage, so a cancelled checkout brings it back, and closing the tab clears it. A service worker keeps a copy of the pages on your device so the count works offline.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for a copy, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by writing to [[CONTACT EMAIL NEEDED]]. Stripe keeps its own records of a payment for as long as the law that governs payments requires, and a deletion request to us does not reach those.
Changes
A change to this notice is dated at the top of this page, and a change to what is collected is stated here before it takes effect.
