Accessibility

[[ENTITY NEEDED]] builds this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What is measured
Contrast is computed from the colour values themselves. Every text colour clears 4.5 to 1 against its background; the lowest pair on the counter, grey-green box labels on the pale green ground, measures 5.94 to 1. This deployment was checked with automated accessibility rules (axe-core) on 9 October 2026.
Every control is reached by keyboard, in reading order, with a violet focus ring three pixels wide. The drop zone is a standard file input under its label, so Enter or Space opens the file picker, and a dropped file is optional. Touch targets are at least 44 pixels in each direction, and text inputs are set at 16 pixels so phones do not zoom.
With a screen reader
The work order is a grid of numbered boxes. A screen reader reads each box's number, its label and its value in order, from the file's name to the date back. The domain bars are hidden from screen readers, because each row's count is also printed as text. The list of sheets being read is a polite live region, and a refused file is announced as an alert that names the file, the reason and the next step.
Motion
One thing moves: the stamp, which lands over 140 milliseconds when a count finishes. With reduced motion set on your device, it is simply there. Nothing advances on a timer; the progress you see is the list of sheets the page has read.
Known limits
- Payment happens on Stripe's checkout page, which Stripe builds and maintains.
- The count needs JavaScript. Without it, the counter shows a sample work order, both prices and the method in plain HTML.
- Files are uploaded to the desk through a file picker. Very large uploads on a slow connection show a percentage and can take minutes.
